“Will the US strike or not?
The entire region has been holding its breath for weeks now regarding the possibility of an American intervention against Iran. Although the US armada is now deployed off the Iranian coast, no good option seems to be emerging.
Option 1, without resorting to military force and thanks to pressure, the Americans eventually obtain major concessions on nuclear weapons, ballistic missiles and support for regional militias.
This is the ideal option for Washington, but it seems unrealistic given that it touches on fundamental aspects of the Islamic Republic. There may be tactical concessions, but certainly not strategic overhauls.
Option number 2, a major but calibrated military intervention, which would target the Iranian ballistic missile program, members of the Pasdaran, but also members of the Iranian elite, including perhaps the Iranian supreme leader.
However, this option poses two problems: firstly, the possible Iranian response, which this time would not be symbolic, against American troops deployed in the region and against US allies in the region. On the other hand, there was no guarantee that this would be enough to make the regime back down.
Third option, the Americans want a major change in Iran, but this requires a large-scale, long-term operation with very uncertain consequences, and the possibility, once again, of regional escalation.
So, of course, the United States could surprise us, as they did in Venezuela, and have most certainly anticipated all possibilities of Iranian reaction.
Finally, a question that is of particular interest to us here in Beirut: would Hezbollah join a large-scale Iranian response?
Despite threats from the axis and the party, this seems highly unlikely. Hezbollah has little to offer and much to lose, both militarily and politically”.

Nonsense! It is clear that either he does not understand anything about Iran or is part of the criminal regime’s propaganda. This will not be a war against Iran if they target the members of the Pasdaran, members of the Iranian regime, including the Islamic republic supreme criminal. This is the war against criminals that occupied Iran and have been committing genocide against the people of Iran. How come he is not speaking out about the genocide that the regime has been committing? For your record: Due to the ongoing genocide in Iran by terrorists from Lebanon, Iraq, Iran and their other allies, at least 90 percent of the Iranian people are calling on President Trump to attack. Indeed, they are very upset that he did not when he claimed the US is loaded and ready! This certainly questions his integrity if he does not attack VERY SOON. Indeed, the attack should be done by both Israel and the US, and also all European countries should fire all Iranian embassy personnel VERY SOON if they care about human life and human rights.
Thank you for your great, thoughtful comment. Bambi joins her voice to the voice of the Iranian people who are demanding a change. Yes, they deserve to get rid of their criminal government, which massacred them in the most brutal, criminal, cruel, and coward ways! She also wants to see that change. She has also expressed her voice in international media surveys about this. I think such a change will serve to solve many other related issues in the Middle East (i.e., regional militias). She will now share articles she read this morning in L’Orient Le Jour detailing the horrible massacre by the Iranian regime against its own people. In one of them, we learn what this regime does to its people after killing their loved ones. In the other, it is about a book by a French citizen released from Iranian jails. He described the horrible torture: from rape to fake death penalty to actual killing, etc. This regime has exported a dark ideology to the world. It has participated in wars in the region by proxy and to a lesser extent directly as well. Many still do not want to admit how evil the regime is. Some do see it, but are afraid. Yet others do not care… Indifference toward the suffering of the innocent yet highly courageous Iranian people. How sad.
