Some drove from Amherst, NS, or Sackville, NB to join their fellow\ncitizens from Moncton in front of Town Hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Everyone stood up together, waving Lebanese flags and\nchanting the anthem, which goes like: \u201cALL of us for you Lebanon\u201d. Indeed, we\nare all as diverse as the society in Lebanon and as united as they are in their\ndemands for a dignified life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A few cars passing by in the downtown area kindly honked in support. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First, here is a video with a speech in English from the President of the Moncton Lebanese Association, Mr. Mike Timani:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-facebook wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-facebook\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div><script async=\"1\" defer=\"1\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\" src=\"https:\/\/connect.facebook.net\/en_US\/sdk.js#xfbml=1&amp;version=v4.0\"><\/script><div class=\"fb-video\" data-href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/MonctonLebaneseAssociation\/videos\/2238685749565349\/UzpfSTY5MDA4NjEwNDUzNTY1MzoxMTU2OTc0OTYxMTgwMDk2\/\" data-width=\"840\"><blockquote cite=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/MonctonLebaneseAssociation\/videos\/2238685749565349\/\" class=\"fb-xfbml-parse-ignore\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/MonctonLebaneseAssociation\/videos\/2238685749565349\/\"><\/a><p>A peaceful gathering from our small community in Moncton. It shows a Lebanese woman during the civil war of 1975-1990 AND it shows her again, today  (October, 2019). This lady, older now, is rejoicing.
