Mr. Trudeau is dividing us one against the other. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

By doing so, he is projecting his \u201cunconscious stupidity<\/em>\u201d on all of us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the worst kind of “unconscious bias” to have when we are the leader of a country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is also sadly reminding us why Qu\u00e9bec wants to be a separate country. Is this a good thing for Canada, Mr. Trudeau? Is this what you want?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yesterday, Bambi celebrated her 30 years in Canada, an unforgettable happy day, even if the preceding one is perhaps one of the saddest days of he life. She is saying so because this is when she returned with her family, to Beirut from Cyprus, a nearby country\/island, under the shelling, to quickly pack whatever could be packed… and to say good-bye to loved ones left behind in the danger of the last round of combat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sadly, she has never imagined, over the past three decades, that a day will come where she would be worried about the future of Canada like that\u2026 and no, it is not because of the pandemic and its economic consequences. It is because of the cultural and intellectual decay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More than ever, we need a leader to unite us. Unfortunately for us, Mr. Trudeau lacks both leadership and wisdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To conclude this post, Bambi will allow herself to borrow Mr. Gibran Khalil Gibran\u2019s powerfully wise words, published in the Garden of the Prophet<\/em>. They were meant for the Lebanon of 1934 (perhaps still valid now?). This means that they were NOT meant for neither the USA, nor Canada… nor the Western world! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You may wish to check the bold sentence at the very end… Is this Mr. Trudeau’s vision for Canada?!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pity the nation that raises not\nits voice save when it walks in a funeral, boasts not except among its ruins,\nand will rebel not save when its neck is laid between the sword and the block.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pity the nation whose statesman\nis a fox, whose philosopher is a juggler, and whose art is the art of patching\nand mimicking.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pity the nation that welcomes\nits new ruler with trumpetings and farewells him with hootings, only to welcome\nanother with trumpetings again.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pity the nation whose sages are\ndumb with years and whose strong men are yet in the cradle.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
