In addition to wearing an artificial leg, he\nwalks with a cane and uses a wheelchair for longer distances. Contrary to what\nmany would believe possible, he became a chartered accountant and also obtained\na MBA from Edinburgh Business School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He has built and sold successful accounting and financial planning\npractices. Today, in addition to continuing a successful career in finance and\naccounting as CFO and co-founder of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.breakawayexperiences.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Breakaway\nExperiences<\/a>, a gift experience company, he uses speaking, comedy and\nwriting to not only educate people as to what people with disabilities can do,\nbut to also inspire them to overcome their own challenges and live their life\nto the fullest of their abilities\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"CTV POWER of ONE with Michael Lifshitz\" width=\"840\" height=\"630\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/wX-FZS_plCo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Michael is not only a skilled financial consultant (an entrepreneur in private practice who has worked as a financial advisor with <em>Investors Grou<\/em>p and with <em>McGill University<\/em>, over many years). She dreams of welcoming him in Sackville, NB (not NS) one of these days.
