As airline consumers, we are blessed to have Dr. G\u00e1bor Luk\u00e1cs, President of Air Passenger Rights<\/em> (https:\/\/shorturl.at\/eySw0<\/a>), Canada’s independent, non-profit, organization of volunteers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yesterday, Dr. Luk\u00e1cs testified before the House of Commons’ Standing Committee on Transportation, Infrastructure and Communities. In a five-minute testimony, he spoke about “Cabinet’s failure to use its powers to put an end to junk fees in air travel<\/em>“. Bravo!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes, thank you to the independent, devoted, and highly talented Dr. Luk\u00e1cs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

May the Cabinet take a courageously wise decision. Indeed, living is already highly expensive in Canada without junk fees in air travel. It would be timely to apply fairness in the protection of passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
