Between the fear of a wider war and the fear following an earthquake, Beirut’s beauty remains charming, thanks to its “corniche” (or coast road) landscape. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As reported by L’Orient Le Jour<\/em>, and according to the German Research Centre for Geosciences<\/em>, the earthquake mainly affected Syria and Jordan. However, the tremor was felt in Beirut and in other regions of Lebanon as well (https:\/\/shorturl.at\/6Nzfq<\/a>). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of note, this 4.8-magnitude earthquake was also felt in Cyprus and Israel as per L’Orient Today<\/em> (https:\/\/shorturl.at\/CkCbJ<\/a>). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

May everyone in Beirut and in the rest of the Middle East be safe and sound from potential man-made as well as natural tragedies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
