In the following French article by\nMs. Magaly Abboud in the l\u2019Orient Le Jour<\/em>, one of the Lebanese major\ndaily newspapers (https:\/\/www.lorientlejour.com\/article\/1205941\/pres-de-220-000-emplois-supprimes-depuis-octobre-60-000-depuis-decembre.html<\/a>),\nwe can read the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAbout 220 000 job losses since October, 2019; 60,000 since December.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Over half of the businessses interviewed by Infopro in January 2020 have cut the pays of their employees.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is HUGE. This is sad. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Will the new Government get the trust of the Parliament of Lebanon tomorrow and on Thursday?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What about earning the trust of the people? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After all, they are the ones paying for their political leaders\u2019 corruption (i.e., funds stolen… without accountability yet) and\/or for their mismanagement?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To conclude this post on a note of hope, Bambi had wished (OK still wishes, if at all realistically possible?) to see the same level of professionalism and talent in the Lebanese politicians as in \u201cCaptain George Deeb, along with Co-Captain Karl Stefan,\u201d who \u201cmanaged to take control of the Airbus 330 while it was landing at Heathrow in London despite the storm\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Indeed, \u201cthe move showed the professionalism of MEA captains\u201d (\u201cLebanon online\u201d on Youtube). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bravo to the Lebanese pilots ?!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
