A first in the land of Cedars&#8230; and impunity! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/middle-east\/lebanon-judge-freezes-assets-five-banks-members-their-boards-document-2022-03-14\/\">https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/middle-east\/lebanon-judge-freezes-assets-five-banks-members-their-boards-document-2022-03-14\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following this piece of information also reported in the <em>Globe and Mail <\/em>(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theglobeandmail.com\/business\/international-business\/article-lebanon-judge-freezes-assets-of-five-banks-and-members-of-their-boards\/\">https:\/\/www.theglobeandmail.com\/business\/international-business\/article-lebanon-judge-freezes-assets-of-five-banks-and-members-of-their-boards\/<\/a>), Bambi came across journalist Roula Douglas&#8217; tweet that reads as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"598\" height=\"397\" src=\"https:\/\/bambisafkar.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/RoulaDouglas_TweetMarch6-2022.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18008\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bambisafkar.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/RoulaDouglas_TweetMarch6-2022.jpg 598w, https:\/\/bambisafkar.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/RoulaDouglas_TweetMarch6-2022-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 598px) 85vw, 598px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p> The tweet above can be translated as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong> &#8220;The decision of Judge Ghada Aoun is illegal&#8221;. Me I say: &#8220;This is because of your own abusive decisions since 2019: Maintaining a stranglehold on our accounts, resorting to a systemic theft of our savings, blocking our credit cards&#8230; are all the latter legal measures?&#8221;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following this development, <em>Fransabank<\/em> closed all its branches (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/middle-east\/lebanons-fransabank-closes-all-branches-after-judicial-order-source-says-2022-03-16\/\">https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/middle-east\/lebanons-fransabank-closes-all-branches-after-judicial-order-source-says-2022-03-16\/<\/a> ; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.naharnet.com\/stories\/en\/288557-fransabank-assets-seized-operations-stop-after-lawsuit-by-depositor\">https:\/\/www.naharnet.com\/stories\/en\/288557-fransabank-assets-seized-operations-stop-after-lawsuit-by-depositor<\/a>)&#8230; only to defy the judicial order as you can see in the <em>YouTube<\/em> video below that Bambi accessed through <em>Naharnet<\/em> and where she saw a woman removing the red wax seals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"\u0647\u0630\u0647 \u062d\u0642\u064a\u0642\u0629 \u0641\u064a\u062f\u064a\u0648 \u0641\u0643 \u0623\u062e\u062a\u0627\u0645 \u0627\u0644\u0634\u0645\u0639 \u0627\u0644\u0627\u062d\u0645\u0631 \u0641\u064a &quot;\u0641\u0631\u0646\u0633\u0628\u0646\u0643&quot; \u0627\u0644\u062d\u0645\u0631\u0627!\" width=\"840\" height=\"630\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/idDNQTg1Vys?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Regardless of any responsibility of the boards of these banks or not (before or following the financial crash of October 17, 2019), Bambi would like to offer the Lebanese people a beautiful song of hope that she discovered on <em>Youtube<\/em>. This artistic performance is entitled <em>Au ciel du Liban<\/em> [<em>In the Skies of Lebanon<\/em>] and it shows us some of this country&#8217;s landscape.
