First, who is Mr. Alghabra, our Federal Minister of Transportation, who seems to enjoy \u201cQu\u00e9bec bashing<\/em>\u201d like his boss and like many of the journalists from the rest of Canada:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bambi has a post on him, see further below. In that post, Bambi found an old Arabic news article in which he used the following words during an interview:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cUnfortunately, the Islamic majority remained silent\nduring the debate about this bill [on the implementation of Sharia law],\nleaving the room wide open for the minority opposing it, which was more vocal,\nand thus managed to make this bill fail. This was not meant to be against\nMuslims, but it is us who were divided and did not how to speak in one voic<\/em><\/strong>e<\/strong>\u201c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bill 21 is precisely about Qu\u00e9bec state\u2019s secularism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although Mr. Alghabra seems competent and likeable, how can we trust his judgement about Bill 21 when he has expressed support for Islamism (political Islam) in Ontario in the past? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As you\ncan hear toward the end of this interview (i.e. 6:28 minute into it) or read in\nthe title of the CBC<\/em> article, Mr. Alghabra called Qu\u00e9bec’s\nBill 21 \u201cstate-sanctioned discrimination\u201d. <\/em>Does this Minister realize\nthe impact of his serious words? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why is\nhe shamelessly interfering in Qu\u00e9bec\u2019s politics, like our PM and like many of\nour Canadian columnists?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enough\nis enough. It is time to learn to respect Qu\u00e9bec now!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
